1Who we are

ImVIP is a service of GPR di Giovanni Pio Rizzi, a sole trader based in Italy, VAT IT04595240716. Contact: [email protected] for general questions, [email protected] for accounts and payments.

By using the service — from the web app, the iPhone app or this site — you accept these terms.

2What ImVIP is

ImVIP is a status game. You pay, and what you have spent determines your position on a public leaderboard: worldwide, in your country, and inside the groups you belong to.

What you buy is the position and the visibility, and nothing else. There are no prizes, rewards, winnings, cash-outs or goods of any kind.

3It is not gambling

ImVIP is not gambling, a lottery or a bet. There is no element of chance: your position is an arithmetic, predictable consequence of what you spent, and before you pay the app shows you how many places that amount moves you up.

There is no pot, no draw, no opponent to beat for a prize, and no way to turn what you spent back into money.

4Minimum age

The service is for people aged 18 or over. By registering you state that you are. If we learn an account belongs to a minor we close it.

5Payments

The minimum payment is €1.00. All amounts are in euro.

On the web, payments are handled by Stripe; in the iPhone app they are Apple in-app purchases. In neither case do your card details pass through our servers.

From us, payments are final and non-refundable: you are paying for the position, which is granted instantly and is public. You accept this at payment time.

Purchases made through the App Store are the exception, because the refund decision is Apple's and not ours: request them at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple grants the refund, the credit and the leaderboard position are reversed automatically. The same applies to a chargeback raised by your bank.

6Your account

One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe; we recommend turning on two-step verification.

Display name, bio and profile picture are public and visible to people without an account too. Do not put anything there you do not want made public. We may remove content that is illegal, abusive, deceptive or impersonates someone, and suspend the account that posted it. If you find one, report it to [email protected]: that is the address we read for this.

7Groups

A group's position depends on the total its members have paid into that group. Group administrators approve join requests and can remove a member.

Groups are never deleted: deleting one would take other people's messages and payments with it. If the creator leaves, the group passes to another administrator or to the longest-standing member.

8Deletion

You can delete your account whenever you want. It disappears from the leaderboard, search and profiles immediately, and stays restorable for 6 months by signing in again. After 6 months it is anonymised irreversibly.

The accounting records of payments remain, as Italian law requires, but are no longer attached to a person. The detail is in the privacy policy.

9Interruptions and changes

We do our best to keep the service available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance and emergencies can make it temporarily unreachable.

We may change these terms. Substantial changes are announced in the service; continuing to use it after the announcement means accepting them.

10Governing law

Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence or domicile remain competent, and the mandatory rights granted by the Italian Consumer Code are unaffected.
